Trojans sports teams are finishing off the week with tough competition as the girls soccer team and football team will face off with top three schools in their leagues.
With two minutes left on the clock, the Trojans girls soccer team was in the lead by one goal against one of the top two soccer teams in their league – seconds later that changed.

Cross country runner Stefanie Thelaner finished strongly at the Nevada State Cross Country Meet at San Rafael Park in Reno last Saturday. This ended her three year career for the Trojans. Thelaner has been a top runner her entire career for the women’s cross country team.
The Beatty football field looked absolutely fantastic at the beginning of the football season. Finally, for $50,000, it looked as if all the curse of the Beatty football field had been broken, a problem with the grass on the field, which has persisted for some time was fixed.
Some of the biggest arguments between sports fans are due to the controversial calls made by officials of the game. Games are lost, seasons are ended and lots of heartache ensues due to the occasional misunderstood action of officials. The Pahrump Valley High School girls’ volleyball team’s season could arguably be considered one of these controversial games.
The Beatty volleyball team ended its season in the semifinal regional playoff game against Pahranagat Valley in 3 matches (25-7, 25-11 and 25-11).
