Little League tryouts were last week and over 100 players showed up.
According to Little League President Lou Banuelos, there will be 9 minor league teams, 4 major league, two juniors, 6 rookie and 7 T-ball, for a total of 340 players.
Opening day is March 19 at 9 a.m. Banuelos said he was looking forward to watching baseball on Saturday afternoons.
“We are still going strong and there is no better program in Pahrump,” he said.
