‘Tis the season, ho-ho-ho and man it’s hard to buy a present for my man. Well, it’s fourth quarter time for buying that special gift and you are running out of ideas for that loved one.
Well, if he’s your husband I can help you out, especially if he’s a sports fan.
I know, my wife is always asking me what I want and always on my list I have something sports-related. Go figure. So, I have compiled a short list of some of the things I wanted to hopefully help you out.
1. Let your man express himself by adding art to his life. A good present for that football fan is buying him an action photograph of his favorite sports hero. They sell these at all the major sports shops that sell sports memorabilia. Prices range, depending on the size, but they are around $20. To make that special gift extra-special, get a signed one or have it framed. Signed photos up the value considerably, depending on who it is. Framing will vary too, depending on where you get the work done.
2. Every sports dad wants his car decked out in his team’s colors. My own truck is 49er red. So why not get the super fan new seat covers and floor mats in their favorite team. This is better than a hat or a T-shirt or even a jersey in some cases because it is something they see every day when they drive to work. Depending on where you go, you can spend maybe $50 for seat covers and floor mats.
3. What a way for your man to express his feminine side. Did you know that the man bag or murse, is now a nine billion dollar industry? Guys are going wild about these bags or purses. (Let’s not beat around the bush, it’s a purse). I am not going to say if this is a bad or a good thing. I still want one. Only you know your man, but I am saying the good thing about a man bag is they sell them with team logos on them. That is a fact, and that is why it’s on my Christmas buy list. The team logo sold me. You don’t see too many briefcases with a team logo. Prices start from $20 and up.
4. Here’s a way to get a romantic night out and score with your man. Buy him tickets to his favorite sport team. Men always enjoy going to a game. Add dinner and you have a romantic night out. What more can a man want? He gets favorite eats with his wife and a fun night out watching his favorite sport. You score on two different levels with your man, showing how sensitive you are and how much you care. Price for this gift should range from $300 and up, depending on the seats.
5. You want your husband home more, well here’s the present for him. Buy him NFL Sunday Ticket. He won’t miss a game of his favorite team and he will have you to thank for it. Of course, if his team sucks like my 49ers, he may not thank you, but if he is a true fan, he will be happy. This is a Direct TV product.
6. Have you ever tried to watch a sporting event on a small TV like a 32-inch screen? It can be a challenge, and with prices coming down on TVs it is much cheaper to buy that 55-inch TV. Two years ago that TV was close to $700 at Walmart and now they are closer to $400. The prices keep dropping. Buy the man a decent TV!
