Trojans soccer starts summer conditioning

Summer conditioning has started for the girls soccer team.

Trojans soccer coach Pam Larmouth said her girls started summer conditioning two weeks ago.

The girls are conditioning in the evenings at the high school and this is open to all girls interested in trying out for the team and returning members of the team. The sessions are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m.

According to Larmouth, girls interested in playing varsity soccer for the Trojans should attend. Assistant Coach Julie Carrington is running the sessions with Jodd Friez. All entering freshmen through seniors are welcome.

In addition to the conditioning sessions, the girls soccer team is having a new camp for middle school girls that will be a fundraiser for the team and run by alumni.

“We are excited to see our alumni and work with them again,” Larmouth said.

The camp is called the State Champion Alumni Soccer Camp and will be for girls entering sixth, seventh and eighth grade.

The camp will be from Aug. 3-7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The camp will be run by alumni and the cost will be $60.

Some of the alumni that will be there are Kaitlin Klem, Brittany Klenczar, Alexis Smith and Janet Garcia.
