Shasta County, California resident Randy Ledbetter captured this image of his neighborhood just before evacuating the Carr fire in Redding, California. Ledbetter’s sister, former longtime Pahrump resident Melissa Metz said both her brother and nephew lost their homes in the wildfire, which has also destroyed more than 1,100 residential structures in the region.
