Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project, near Tonopah, is one of more than 30 clean energy projects that has been given incentives by the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development. Estimates by GOED’s Executive Director Paul Anderson show more than $7.3 billion in payroll, taxes and capital investment has occurred due to $814 million in property tax and sales and use tax abatement by the state.
