Former Pahrump Valley High School instructor Amy Nelson, now in a Las Vegas hospice, strongly disagrees with the cost of an air ambulance flight from Desert View Hospital to a facility in Las Vegas. Nelson said she’s being billed in excess of $28,000 for the total $52,000 transport.
