A tourist who was a vacationing medical provider, along with the assistance of other bystanders, applied CPR and an automatic external defibrillator to revive a 77-year-old man who was found not breathing and with no pulse at Death Valley National Park on Sept. 19. The unidentified man was subsequently transported by park ambulance to a landing zone and taken to a Las Vegas hospital by Mercy Air.
