The Inyo County Sheriff’s Office is utilizing what’s known as a Snowcat to rope-tow search and rescue team members on skis in an effort to locate Marine Corps Lt. Matthew Kraft who went missing last month during a hike through the Sierra Nevada range. Avalanche conditions are hampering search efforts authorities said.
