Mercy Air 21 was summoned to transport the driver who struck a power pole along Highway 372 near Bannavitch Street early Saturday morning. First responders actually found the victim laying on the de-energized power lines upon their arrival to the scene. The crash caused a brief power outage to residents in the immediate area.
