Pahrump fire crews commenced what is known as a “blitz attack,” which is utilizing large amounts of water in a short period of time, to quickly knock down the bulk of Friday’s structure fire on Quarterhorse Avenue. One elderly man succumbed to the flames, while a second occupant of the home was safely rescued.
