Several Pahrump Valley High School students took to the steps near the football field at the high school on March 14, 2018 in protest of the National Rifle Association and gun violence, according to school officials. The move comes as thousands of students across the country participated in the National School Walkout effort that was pegged to begin at 10 a.m., in each time zone, and last 17 minutes for each participating group.
