At least 34 members of Pahrump Valley High School’s marching band was invited to perform at the annual Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade come December. The total cost associated with the trip is roughly $80,000. Nye County Commissioner Dan Schinhofen, said numerous local businesses agreed to donate funds totaling $20,000 for the trip after his urging.
