The Alien Research Center on State Route 375 held a two-day event, Area 51 Basecamp, at its Hiko, Nevada center in light of the then-impending “Storm Area 51” event. The “Storm Area 51” event was pegged to attract tens of thousands of people to Nevada, but those large numbers never materialized.
