Nye County Sheriff’s deputies prepare to transport suspect Joshua Thompson to the detention center on Tuesday July 30.. Thompson, who allegedly attempted to flee the scene on Santovito Street, faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of being under the influence of a controlled substance, one count of resisting, and one count of making a false statement to obstruct a public officer.
