Valley Electric Association Inc.’s board announced Angela Evans was no longer with the company in a news release in July 2019; she had been on paid administrative leave since February 2019 following her arrest on suspicion of embezzlement. Evans was named interim CEO in May 2018 and named permanent CEO in October 2018.
