Angela Evans, named CEO of Valley Electric Inc. in October 2018, was put on paid administrative leave in February after being arrested on suspicion of embezzlement by the Nye County Sheriff’s Office. Evans met with Valley’s board of directors during a special meeting in May but no action was taken at that time.
