Letter: Pahrump is turning into a dump!

Coming from Las Vegas, in the south end, driving home on either Manse Road or CAAS Street, nothing but trash, left and right. And the wind has nothing to do with it. Beer, water, champagne bottles, empty soda boxes and beer boxes, personal trash bags, building material, tires, clothing, etc.

The same goes for Homestead and Highway 160 passing the driving school. Nothing but trash.

What is happening to our town? Does anybody care? The town wants more visitors in the RV parks. Try to find the “weak spot.” There is one –TRASH!

I just visited Hoover Dam, driving through the town of Boulder City and Henderson, with all the visitors, no TRASH.

Pahrump used to be beautiful, but it’s now turning into a trash dump.

Don’t we have people doing community service? That would be a great job for them – to clean up our community.

Please keep our town clean.
