Thank you for successful mother/daughter tea

Recently our women’s ministry sponsored its first-ever mother/daughter tea on Saturday, May 13th. We are pleased to announce that it was well attended and the women and girls that attended the tea loved participating in the event. The church has limited seating but we were able to host for several women in our community, our church and a group even came out from Las Vegas.

One of the reasons it was so much fun was due to participation by several businesses in our community that donated door prizes. In appreciation, I am including the list of those businesses and we want to publicly let them know how much we appreciated their donations.

Those individuals/businesses were: Kris Su, Java Junkies; Anna Fanning, Shear Talent; Jessica Blossom, Executive Director, Inspirations; Marcie Metzger, Realtor; Angela Mercer, Lee Funeral Home; Michael Alvarado, Jewelry by Michael; Evona Stoneburger, Mary Kay Consultant; and Kathy Mazzola.

We also want to express a special thanks to Jana Guest, who coordinated and facilitated the contacts with these individuals. Jana serves as a valuable member of our advisory board.

With appreciation,

Major Claudia Ruiz, Corps officer
