Sophomore Anthony Pearson of Pahrump Valley has Virgin Valley sophomore Shane Zarate in his grasp during the Class 3A Southern Region consolation semifinals at 195 pounds on Saturday at Moapa Valley High School. Pearson went on to pin Zarate in 1:42 and then finished off Western sophomore Toban Garcia in 2:51 in the third-place bout.
