Don Kaminski, vice chair of the Tonopah Town Board, won a seat on the Northern Nye County Hospital District Board of Trustees in the 2018 election cycle. He was the top winner in a pool of four candidates that were vying for two four-year terms; he carried over 32 percent of the vote.
