Pahrump resident Mark Owens is vying for a seat on the Nye County School School District Board of Trustees Area 3 seat in the upcoming 2018 elections. The Area 3 nonpartisan race had four candidates in the June primaries; the top two contenders from that race will compete in the general election coming up.
