On Sunday, July 11, fire crews responded to a structure fire at approximately 9:41 a.m., on the 3500 block of North Leslie. Fire Chief Scott Lewis said grinding activities on the property caused a piece of slag to ignite dry ground materials which extended to the dwelling. No injuries were reported.
