Members of the Nye County Sheriff’s Office recently received a four-day crisis prevention class designed to de-escalate situations when dealing with the public. Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Adam Tippetts considered the training ‘critical’ for deputies and other area agencies, including Child Protective Services.
