40- to 50-mph wind conditions felled several power poles along the 4200 block of North Blagg Road last week. Pahrump Valley Fire & Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis said though a nursing home briefly experienced a cessation of electricity, generators at the facility were able to restore power. No injuries were reported.
