The Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline voted to suspend Michele Fiore from her position as Pahrump Justice of the Peace without pay, according to court documents.
The jury that will decide whether former Las Vegas Councilwoman Michele Fiore committed wire fraud was seated on the first day of her federal trial Tuesday.
The judge overseeing the case still has to rule on the admissibility of some evidence after a hearing.
Michele Fiore was indicted by a Las Vegas grand jury on July 16 on wire fraud and conspiracy charges.
