The Trojans wrestling team traveled to the Boulder City Duals on Saturday and went 2-2 getting much-needed experience. Trojans wrestling coach Craig Rieger said he and his coaches hope to build on the team’s youth this year.

Lady Trojans learn to win at River Valley

The Lady Trojans went down to play four games last week at the River Valley Tournament in Mohave, Arizona, going 2-2 and then went to Durango on Tuesday and won 43-24.

Sydney Sladek — The University of Southern California Trojans won the NCAA national title and the team has a Pahrump connection. Sydney Sladek plays as a starting midfielder for USC and she was on the Pahrump Lady Trojans soccer team. Her team just beat West Virginia on Sunday 3-1 for the national title. She is a 2013 graduate of Pahrump and was on the 2011 and 2012 state championship soccer teams and was also a two-time state champion in the 800-meter run.
