Lady Trojans off to a 5-6 start

The Lady Trojans basketball team is learning to work together as a team. In the first two weeks of the season the team has compiled a record of 5-6. The Trojans are coming off several wins at the Lake Mead Holiday Classic in Las Vegas where the team posted 4 wins and a loss in the two-day event over the weekend.

The team beat Indian Springs twice on Friday 36-8 and 40-8, beat Lake Mead 22-13 and on Saturday beat the Bishop Gorman JV team 27-22. The only game they lost was to Calvary Chapel of Las Vegas 33-32.

On Wednesday the Lady Trojans were home against Chaparral High School Cowboys and lost big 58-25.

The Trojans are away during next week’s action and play Rancho High School Monday at 5 p.m., and then on Thursday they are at home against Del Sol High School at 5 p.m.

After the break, they resume their schedule on Jan. 8 away against Clark.
