There will be a change this year to two events which normally happen at different times. The Wild West Extravaganza changed location last year from Saddle West to Petrack Park. This year, another event, the Acoustic Grass Festival, has joined forces with WWE. Both events are set for May 2, 3 and 4.
The crowd at the Pahrump Nugget Casino on a weekend night saw Sidro’s Armada go through familiar pop tunes like a Fleetwood Mac medley, Toto’s hit “Africa”, even “Shake Your Booty” by K.C. and the Sunshine Band.
There are a lot of opportunities this weekend and into next week for getting out of the house, giving to charity, listening to live music and attending a Pahrump Arts Council Spring Chorale Concert.
