The Shadow Mountain Community Players (SMCP) opens its season with the dinner play “The Hollow” by Agatha Christie. The play is being held at the New Hope Fellowship on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21. The dinner is Mexican style. Doors open with the dinner served at 6 p.m. The play begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $17.50 per person.
It’s an opportunity to dine at eight area restaurants all while raising funds for a local organization.

Tragedy, civil strife and prophetic witches will descend on Pahrump tonight at 7 p.m. as members of the 2015 Utah Shakespeare Tour give a live performance of William Shakespeare’s shortest tragedy, Macbeth.
Students at four area schools have the opportunity to witness a master performing his craft when northern Nevada resident Todd Green arrives in Pahrump next week.
