Mountain View Casino closes its doors

Rochelle McCaw, part owner of the Mountain View Casino, announced Tuesday the casino will close its doors November 9th for remodeling and will open as Terrible’s Casino upon completion.

She said, “We want to thank the Pahrump residents for their patronage over the past 26 years and look forward to seeing all of you at the Grand Opening of Terrible’s Casino very soon.”

All Mountain View employees were laid off, but according to an unnamed source, severance pay and the ability to apply for unemployment benefits were not denied.
