The Trojans track squads were both at Desert Pines competing in a new format for the division on Tuesday. Normally two teams face off in a dual meet and there might be a non-league team there who might need some practice.

Beatty High School baseball is underway. The first game was a learning game against the Pahrump Valley Trojans junior varsity team where the Hornets lost 15-3.
The Beatty Track team appears to have started where they left off last spring. Beatty is the defending Division IV state champion and this year Hornets Coach Jerry Adcox has returned with nearly 50 team members.
The Pahrump Art Gallery has installed a new exhibit of local artists with featured artist Princy Simonsen. She has lived in Pahrump for eight years and has been exhibiting paintings for about five years and part of those are permanent displays as wall murals at the museum, the library, and the art gallery entrance. There are seven artists exhibiting in this show.
