Youth football - flag football 5-6 years old: All games for flag football are in Las Vegas. Here is the schedule:

Oct. 8, noon, at Ed Fountain #8 vs Meyers; Oct. 15, 2 p.m., at Frias Park Field #2 vs Jones; Oct. 22, 2 p.m., at Frias Park Field #2 vs Seahawks; Nov. 5, 2 p.m., at Frias Park Field #2 vs Avengers; Nov. 12, noon, at Ed Fountain #8 vs Pavicich; Nov. 19, noon, at Ed Fountain #8 vs Meyers.

Middle school football results: RCMS played Meadows on Sept. 25. The game was called in the third quarter. The Sharks (3-0) won 36-0. The next game is at home on Oct. 8, at PVHS and starts at 4 p.m.

Bowling News: Nugget Bowling Center: Joe Matassa bowled a perfect game on Sept. 9 at 8:19 p.m.

Dominique Maloy: “Youth Sports Experience” is offering a month-long athletic development program that will assist athletes of all ages, sports, and skill levels in maximizing their athletic capabilities and potential.

WHEN: Every Saturday and Sunday the ENTIRE month of October, from 2:30-4 p.m., (7th-12th graders) and 4-5:30 p.m. (3rd-7th graders). WHERE: PVHS PRACTICE football/soccer field.

PRICES: Signup/payment due on day athlete participates - $100 month, $30 weekend, $20 day.

The Trojans softball team suffered their first loss this season against a school from a neighboring state on Monday, but it also added a win in a weekend game against Moapa Valley (2-1) at home.
