Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Sept. 25 – Sept. 29. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Shepherd’s pie, corn, salad, pinto bean soup;

Tuesday — Chicken cacciatore, linguine, squash, salad with fat-free dressing, cookies, soup;

Wednesday – Beef stew, green beans, salad, split pea soup;

Thursday — Cheese enchilada, refried beans, carrots, soup;

Friday – Chicken teriyaki, fried rice, salad, oranges, soup.

Activities

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; beading group, 1 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; bunco, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.-3 p.m.;

Wednesday —Flu shot clinic, 9 a.m.-noon; Blind Support, 12:30 p.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Men’s Club breakfast, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits (knitting and crochet group), 10 a.m.-noon;

Friday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 25 – Sept. 29:

One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Tuna stuffed tomato, apricot bran muffin w/butter, turkey bean soup, fresh orange;

Wednesday – Fish tacos, Spanish rice, black beans, coleslaw, pears;

Thursday — Sloppy joe on whole wheat bun, baked beans, baby carrots, fruit cocktail.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 25 – Sept. 29:

One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Lemon baked fish, whole wheat roll, green peas, long-grain brown rice, tossed salad, creamy Italian dressing, grapes;

Tuesday — Baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli, whole wheat roll, fresh melon;

Wednesday — Chili-cheese baked potato, steamed carrots, whole wheat banana muffin w/butter, fat-free blueberry yogurt, orange juice;

Thursday — Spinach lasagna, garlic bread, mixed fruit, colorful salad;

Friday — Scrambled eggs, hash browns, low-sodium sausage, oatmeal, fresh fruit in season, orange juice.
