Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of July 28 – Aug. 1, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, apple crisp;

Tuesday — Swedish meatballs over noodles, glazed carrots, cake;

Wednesday — hot dogs, potato wedges, mixed veggies, pudding;

Thursday — philly cheesesteak, potato wedges, broccoli, yogurt cup;

Friday — baked cod, rice pilaf, peas, cake;

Saturday — pancake breakfast, 8 a.m. to noon.

Activities

Monday — haircuts, 9 a.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — shopping day, 9:30 a.m.; blind support, 12:30 p.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; preparing advance directives seminar, 9:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of July 28 – Aug. 1:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — stuffed pork chops, sliced tomatoes, scalloped potatoes, raisin cinnamon bars;

Tuesday — Mexican meatballs, brown rice, seasoned zucchini, corn tortilla, mangoes;

Wednesday — turkey cheese macaroni bake, asparagus, dinner roll, sugar cookies;

Thursday — sloppy joes, baked beans, carrot sticks, fruit cocktail;

Friday — No information available.
