Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: July 13– July 17. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — country fried steak, mashed potatoes, carrots, fruit cup, soup;

Tuesday — ham steak, scalloped potatoes, peas and carrots, fruit cup, soup;

Wednesday — chili relleno casserole, Spanish rice, churros, soup;

Thursday — herb baked chicken, au gratin potatoes, corn, peach crisp, soup;

Friday – tilapia, rice pilaf, asparagus, cake, soup.

Activities

Monday — haircuts, 9 a.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Desert View Hospital rep. Kelly Adams, 10 a.m.; Cresent Hardy rep., 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday —exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Stovall Legal Services, call 727-5008 for appt.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of July 13 – July 17

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — beef stew, noodles, biscuit and honey, fruit cup;

Tuesday — parmesan tilapia, corn, beets, spiced applesauce, whole wheat roll, cookies;

Wednesday —herb baked chicken, peas, potato wedges, breadsticks, peach melba;

Thursday — chili rellenos, refried beans, Spanish rice, tortilla chips, flan, churros;

Friday — biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit.
