Pahrump Valley’s summer basketball season is underway, but Coach Toby Henry isn’t measuring success by wins and losses. The team’s multi-sport athletes are using June’s competition to gain experience.

The Mountain Falls Women’s Golf Association has repeated as champions of the Women’s Southern Nevada Golf Association Net Championship, defeating Spanish Trail Country Club 8–4 on May 21 at Arroyo Golf Club.

Fresh off hosting a youth camp in Pahrump, the girls basketball program took its talents on the road, bringing three teams to compete in Utah Tech University’s annual women’s basketball camp and tournament from June 1-4.

Pahrump Valley High School senior and dual-sport athlete Kayne Horibe has committed to Mesa Community College, where the pitcher will continue his baseball career while pursuing a degree in exercise science.
