Trojans Soccer Camp for girls 5th through 8th grade

Cost is $60 from August 1-5, 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the soccer field. Bring shin guards, sunscreen and a water bottle. For more info, call Julie Carrington at 775-513-8783.

Trojans Volleyball Camp

The Trojans volleyball camp will run from July 28-30 at the main gym, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for all high school girls volleyball team members.

Bowling News:

The PVTBC will hold a certified “Whoops Singles Tournament”, with handicap, on June 25, at the Pahrump Nugget. This tournament will be sponsored by Pahrump Valley Auto Plaza and there will be one squad, at 1 p.m., (practice starts at 12:50). The tournament is open to active PVTBC members only (dues for 2016 need to be paid in this tournament if not paid prior).

Pahrump Junior all-stars get massive victories in tournament

The Junior All-Stars dropped their first game of their tournament last Saturday 5-2 to Summerlin South, but that doesn’t seem to have fazed them after their most recent outings.

NSHPA continues season with a sunset tournament

The NSHPA will be holding the Sundown Showdown tournament this Saturday, June 25, at Lone Mountain Regional Park in Las Vegas. The tournament will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Pahrump Valley Juniors baseball fall behind early in tournament

The Junior All-Stars team, which is comprised of players from all three of Pahrump’s Little League baseball junior division teams, dropped their opening game of the tournament against the South Summerlin juniors team on Saturday.

Scott Hardy takes top spot in the June Bug Classic

Scott Hardy got his first win of the 2022 Nevada State Horseshoe Pitching Association season at the June Bug Classic that was held in Las Vegas after multiple second-place finishes this season.

Walker era begins as Trojans hit the field

Head coach Thom Walker is entering his first season as the head of the Trojan football program after former head coach Joe Clayton retired from coaching earlier this year.

Girls of Troy finish runners-up in Las Vegas softball league

This was the third year the team has been together, finishing this season with their best overall record of 13-6-2. They went into the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the league.
