How safe are we — in the Winery area?

Did you read the R-J newspaper dated July 31, page 6A?

We have a propane gas plant in our backyard that fills propane tanks for all home uses.

I don’t know how many 20-pound canisters they have to fill in our area, but do we want the same problem that Tavares, Fla. has?

I see enough fireworks from my backyard on Fourth of July and other holidays.

Everyone in the area — residents on Factory and Warehouse Street, and all of us who live here in the Winery area — Winery Road and Vineyard Drive, should let someone look into the safey at that plant and save our homes if the big tank blows up, along with the little tanks.

Residents of our area, let’s be concerned.
