Two people were injured in a shooting early Tuesday morning in southeast Las Vegas, according to police.

The victims were in a parked car near Palm Street and Sunflower Avenue about 1 a.m. when they told police they were in an “unprovoked drive-by shooting.”

Police said the driver was shot twice in the left arm and wrist. He drove to a Rebel gas station a few blocks away at East Tropicana Avenue and Mountain Vista Street.

One passenger was shot in the chest but was able to run several blocks from the scene to a residence, police said. A second passenger was uninjured.
