BUSINESS: Realty Executives in Action

AGE: 67

BACKGROUND: “I have been in Nevada real estate since 1997. I was in Las Vegas for five years and then we came out to Pahrump. I have been in this town since 2002. I have been active in our association as the director of the board and I was recent past chair of the MLS. I have also been politically active with homeowner rights and Realtor rights with the association. I am a current Nevada real estate commissioner.”

FIRST JOB: “My first job was with a bowling alley at the age of 14. There I worked behind the grill.”

YEARS IN BUSINESS: “I have been in the business for about 18 years. I own the franchise for Realty Executives in Action.”

PERSONAL: “I like to hang out with my husband and I like to play the piano and the harp. I am also very active in our church.”

BUSINESS CLIMATE: “I think the real estate climate in Pahrump is healthy. We have not fully recovered, but we are better than we were. If it continues this way, I believe the prices will go up more and people will not be so underwater. We have so many more people that are no longer underwater. We are busy and we are seeing an uptick in commercial real estate too.”
