Letters to the Editor

Maybe we should just be thankful for what we have

What's going on in our town? When I moved here 23 years ago, we had a population of about 12,000 people and had all the facilities here for our needs.

Now it seems the animal shelter is closed and maybe our museum. Our taxes should cover these things in that we have so many more tax-paying people. Is our public pool and library next? I sure hope not.

If you call animal control you will hear "call 911" or you can leave a message and phone number which I did and never did get a call back and it's been one week.

Since it's Thanksgiving month, I guess we should give thanks that we have what we have.

Jo Ann McCalla

Thank you

It is with great appreciation we would like to thank Jesus Christ for His mercy and grace, Nathan Adelson Hospice Pahrump location as well as the Tenaya location in Las Vegas for their outstanding care that was provided. Also we would like to thank Cathy at Arbor Flowers and Gifts. She went above and beyond the call with flowers, deliveries, and whatever we needed. Smith's Grocery Store for the food they provided. Pahrump Family Mortuary for their compassion and service. Thank you to all our family and friends for the outpouring of love they have shown us.

Sincerely,

The Kevin Malonson Family
