First job: I worked in retail in Buena Park, California when I was 17 years old.
Years in Business: I have been doing this for 13 years and in Pahrump for 5 years.
Background: I started doing hair in Hollywood, where I had a shop. This is the third Cuts n Dos, I had two shops in Hollywood, California and this one in Pahrump is the third. In California I did hair for the group the Go Gos, Ricky Nelson, Dwight Yoakam and the Bangles, to name a few. I was quite busy in the 80s.
Personal: I like riding motorcycles with my husband. I like the long rides on our Harley.
Business Climate: I think we hold our own. We are competitive despite all the salons because we have great stylists here that keep the clients coming back for more. I have Dore, who does braiding and extensions, she is creative and one of the best in town.
