Pahrump Youth Softball: Fall ball season is open for registration. Registration is Aug. 26 and 29 at Ian Deutch Field at 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., at the snack bar. Cost to play is $65. A copy of the birth certificate is required to register. For more info: richlauver@hotmail.com.

Saturday, Aug. 27 at Lakeside Casino and RV Park: Super Arena World Cup Jet Ski racing returns for a second time this summer if you missed it the first time. Racing starts at 1 p.m., with the main event at 7 p.m. under the lights. Then on Aug. 28, racing begins at 10 a.m., with the main event at 3 p.m.

Racing at the Pahrump Valley Speedway: All classes will race this Saturday at 7 p.m. Adult tickets: $10, seniors 55+: $8, children 6-14 years: $6, children age 5 and under are FREE, family six pack: $30 for two adults and four kids under age 14, season pass: $180.

Trojans place three top-ten finishes in League Match #4

The Trojans boys golf program secured three top-ten finishes in a competitive field of 28. Junior Travis Floyd led the way with a fifth-place finish, followed closely by Aaron Rily in seventh and senior Cayden Cowley in eighth.
