District Attorney’s report • Feb. 10, 2017

The public information below was provided by the Nye County District Attorney’s office.

• Miles Shannon Tillery was charged on Jan. 24 with child abuse and neglect and unlawful use of a controlled substance, both felonies; and tail lamps required, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, first offense, and driving under the influence, second offense, all misdemeanors.

• Andre Lamar Longmire, Jr. was charged on Jan. 24 with ownership or possession of firearm by certain persons prohibited; trafficking in a scheduled I controlled substance; and offer, attempt, or commission of unauthorized act(s) relating to controlled substance, first offense, all felonies.

• Kevin Fernandez was charged on Jan. 30 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony; and speeding, 31 to 40 mph over and failure to maintain lane, both misdemeanors.

• Angela C. Warm was charged on Feb. 1 with unlawful use of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies; and driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

• Benjamin Taber was charged on Feb. 2 with unlawful use of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.

• Jennifer Alice McCormack was charged on Jan. 27 with battery upon a provider of health care, a gross misdemeanor and obstructing a public officer, a misdemeanor.

• Edward Leon Fox was charged on Jan. 17 with vehicle entering intersection marked ‘stop’ or ‘yield’, unsafe passing, and basic speed, all misdemeanors.

• Oran Aaron Cox Jr., was charged on Jan. 25 with failing to appear, a misdemeanor.

• Keith D. Newell was charged on Jan. 27 with driving under the influence of alcohol; vehicle entering intersection marked ‘stop’ or ‘yield’; driving on highway having multiple marked lanes for traffic; and resisting public officer, all misdemeanors.

• Freddie Raphael Oliveras Jr., was charged on Jan. 27 with domestic battery, a misdemeanor.
