No changes for De La Fuente in election recount

Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske announced that results for independent presidential candidate Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente yielded no change in the number of votes cast for him.

A recount results did, however, show a net nine-vote decrease for Hillary Clinton and a six-vote decrease for Donald Trump, Cegavske said in a Dec. 8 announcement.

No other changes were identified by the recount.

The recount was conducted in 93 precincts identified by De La Fuente in his recount request, and included 93,840 votes cast.

He selected two precincts in Carson City, two in Douglas County, two in Mineral County, two in Nye County, and 85 in Clark County for recount, although one Clark County precinct was listed twice on his recount request, Cegavske said.
