The Nevada National Guard Pre-Retirement and Retirement Services staff announced that it is reminding all Nevada Guardsmen that the staff remains ready to assist all soldiers, airmen and veterans in a variety of topics.

These include retirement point calculations, survivor benefit plans, retirement pay, TRICARE insurance, My Army Benefits, Veterans Administration benefits and Social Security compensation.

The Retirement Services staff attended pre-retirement training in Las Vegas on March 18.

The Nevada Army Guard hosted the training for 76 military personnel and civilians, including nine colonels and the Nevada Guard’s own Retirement Services staff.

For any type of retirement assistance, call the State Retirement NCO at 775-887-7259.
