Attacking of the Innocent

Boycott?????…Tropical Smoothie employs over 10 innocent Pahrump residents. Subway was owned by Aunt Liz and was sold over seven years ago. The unrelated owners employ over 15 Pahrump residents.

Please do not let ignorance rule this day. It has come to our attention that some residents have suggested that these businesses be boycotted. The question is who is this really hurting? It is the employees who need these jobs. Pahrump has nearly an 8-percent unemployment rate. Do not let the ignorant minority influence your patronage, and please, do not crucify innocent relatives.

The Provenza family during the 38 years of Pahrump residency has employed hundreds of Pahrump residents, taught hundreds of children the art and discipline of dance. They have housed thousands of people through the Property Management Company, and have been leaders and volunteers in the community, and supported the arts and development of Pahrump. It may be time to focus on the benefits of having Provenzas in this Valley.

It saddens us that our parents’ contribution is not recognized at this time. Guilt by association should never overshadow the constant contribution that has been made by the Provenza family.

Aunt, Donna Provenza-Lamm and Aunt, Liz Provenza-Neth

After reading the letter from a “moderate Republican”, with a severe case of TDS,

BOVEE — Election results: What does it all mean?

First, something it doesn’t mean: the Nov. 4 election is not a wholesale rejection of Trump and his policy.

Government shutdowns are becoming almost like ‘political holidays’ for so many in government.

As a moderate Republican I am just shaking my head at the mindless automatons we actually call elected officials who have been storming around causing complete chaos on Capitol Hill for two weeks.
