Special Olympics Bowling Regionals: Our Mustangs bowling team competed in both single and doubles matches at the South Point Bowling Center Las Vegas on Nov. 22. Single play medal winners: gold medals: Holly Flanagan, Nicole Foster, Justin Hayes, Ashlin Johnson, Cinthia Nelson, and Burdett Ward; silver medals: Billy Klem and Brandon McMillen; bronze medals: Erin Briskey, Kellye Dorrough, Cory Fitzwater, Lucas Mont-Ross, Brian Roberts, Sebastian Smith and Travis Walker.

Doubles play: gold medals were (Justin Hayes & Billy Klem), (Amber Boseck & Kellye Dorrough),

(Nicole Foster & Erin Briskey) and (Burdett Ward & Brian Roberts); silver medals were (Travis Walker & Sterling Freeman) and (Lucas Mont-Ross & Brady Freeman); bronze medals were (Tony Gourley & Larry Yates), (Ashlin Johnson & Chip Danielson), (Sean Flanagan & Austin Lee), and (Cory Fitzwater & Mathew Robinson).

Pahrump Valley girls take 4th a state cross country meet

The Pahrump Valley girls cross country team took fourth in the Class-3A state competition on Saturday at Rancho San Rafael in Reno. The five-member team was the top-finishing Southern Nevada team at the meet with a combined time of 2:06.42 and 114 points.
