PV Little League All-Stars Present Bowling for Baseball: The juniors all-star team has the opportunity to go to the state championships in Carson City on July 18-23. Help us raise money by bowling at the Pahrump Nugget Bowling Center on July 12 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. The tickets include two games of bowling and shoe rentals. For more info call: 775-253-0535.

Special Olympics Fundraiser: Fundraiser for Special Olympics will be on July 13 at 2 p.m. There will be no tap bowling and a raffle held too. For $10 each bowler gets three games and the shoe rental is free. Also Shadow Mountain Quilters will be donating quilts for the raffle.

Great Games Schedule: Beatty: July 28 – Aug. 1, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Beatty Community Park; Pahrump: Aug. 4-8, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at J.G. Johnson Elementary School (Teaming up with PVYA. Secondary site location, Ian Deutch Memorial Park off of Honeysuckle)

PVHS Girls Soccer conditioning: The summer conditioning started on June 24 and will continue until July 31 on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at the PVHS soccer field.

Musial is top winner at Pahrump Valley Tournament Bowling Club event

Charity Musial captured Division A of the Certified “Whoops” Singles, the Handicap Side Pot and the Scratch Side Pot, pocketing $125 to leave as the big winner at the Pahrump Valley Tournament Bowling Club’s July 25 event at the Pahrump Nugget Bowling Center.

Swain wins Shade Tree Open, teams with Jacobs at Firecracker in Pahrump

Bob Swain of Bullhead City, Arizona used an overwhelming edge in ringers to overcome a 54-point differential and go undefeated in Class A to win the Shade Tree Open horseshoes tournament on July 18 at Petrack Park in Pahrump.
